BUDGIE Announces New Guitarist
October 15, 2007Welsh hard rock legends BUDGIE have announced the addition of guitarist Andy James to the group's ranks.
According to a posting on his MySpace page, Andy James is one of the UK's most talented and up and coming guitarists. He first picked up the guitar when he was 12 years old and from that day fourth has never looked back. Early influences included GUNS N' ROSES, EXTREME, QUEEN, VAN HALEN and JOE SATRIANI. Andy has been working on a string of instructional DVDs for Licklibrary.com under the title "Metal Edge". Also available is Andy's second album, "In the Wake of Chaos", on Grooveyard Records.

Feb. 14 - Enmore Theatre - Sydney
Feb. 16 - The Tivoli - Brisbane
Feb. 21 - The Forum – Melbourne
BUDGIE completed a 35-date date U.K. tour that ran until December 2006. The group's new album, entitled "You're All Living In Cuckooland", was released in the U.K. on November 7, 2006.
